Right now, I find myself feeling quite lost and overwhelmed.

I’ve recently discovered that I will be responsible for around $23,737.

I have surgery scheduled for the 17th to treat Post-traumatic Spinal Cord Tethering and Syringomyelia.

In 2022, I went through a similar operation, but it didn’t alleviate the ongoing damage to my spinal cord. Thankfully, I’ve found a highly respected surgeon at the Falci Institute for Spinal Cord Injuries, who practices at Swedish Medical in Englewood, Colorado. He is well-known for his expertise in spinal cord injuries and research.

Medicare is my primary insurance, covering 80% of my medical costs, while Medicaid usually handles the remaining 20%. However, I was taken aback to learn that Medicaid, as state insurance, does not cover surgeries performed out of state.

Moving forward, all profits from my artwork

will be dedicated to raising funds for the surgery costs.
